Arrive in Kauai grabbed a car and set out to see what we could see. Our firs stop was at Kilauea Light Station. On to Hanalei Valley we did not go down in the valley but the view from the lookout let us see it all. On to the end of the road, to Haena Beach park where there was a dry cave you could walk in and other cave that had water in it. By now it is late enough we can check into our room. We had a nice ocean and garden view, did not get good pictues of that since we were to busy seeing other things. That was day one.

Day two started out with us going the other way around the Island our first stop was Waimea Canyon Lookout of course it was beautiful and pictures never do thing justice. Understand you can dirve down in the canyon with a 4 wheel drive and even camp on the canyon floor. After that we just stopped here and there seeing what ever looked interesting and the most interesting thing we found was Lappperts Ice cream stand, I do believe this was the original stand, now there are several. Understand it has no added sugar and it 60 percent butter fat.......Yummmmmm. Luau at Smith Family Garden and it was the best Luau I have been to, the food was wonderful and of coures I ate to much. After dinner there was a Hula dancing and it we very good too. Pefect ending for day two.

Our last day was busy with a boat ride at Smith's Fern Grotto Wailua river cruise and then on to Kilojana Train Tour tat took us thew orchards with over 50 varieties of fruits, we stopped long enough to feel the wild pigs and goats....fun time. Of course there was shops and here are some flowers we found along the way. At 5:55pm we were on the plane headed back to Ohau and Kauai was so sad to see us leave it was "Crying" but when we got to Ohau it was so happy to see us it was "Crying" what wonderful Islands.
