Was invited to a Sub-vet Friend of Louise's to come and see his home which is also a museum, as you come in the door the tour starts with his model of "Lady Luck" which was the USS Constitution. He belongs to the Sons or the Revolution. Louise and I both had to set a spell and talk to Mark Twain, we interrupted him reading a book. This Wurlitzer plays the old 45's but it is updated to work by remote. Brought back good memories listening to the songs. Stained glass window of the Bofin, and a replica of the Titanic as it was starting to sink. This model of the Titanic came from the Insurance company that Insured the ship
One room was made to look like a stateroom on a paddle wheel river boat. It was also filled with Mark Twain memorabilia.
This is a model of a Japanese plane that we managed to capture. Licence plate collection in the garage. An ore from the Queen Mary. Old Glory flying on the Widows Walk. Oh so much to see and words do not do it justice.
What a pleasant afternoon we had.
