OUR LAST WEEK IN YUMA

Finally got some time to go out caching with Suz and FO, with one or the other of us being sick, then Suz cruise we have not spent enough time with fsrvers doing what we do CACHING!!!!! It was nice to get out and check out the canals and the fram land. On to the desert where we found a catcus in bloom the peddles almost look transparent.

Every time we have gone caching this week we think this will be our last time.......Red Buggy man put out 4 caches and there was still a FTF to be had so off W and I go into the desert. Our first stop is to the cache that has not been found yet. We poke around for a while and then Buzzcut shows up and helps us hunt..........no luck so we move on to the next one. On this one W had to call one of his life lines and get some info, then we found the cleaver hide. On to number three, and I had that one before the guy's found ground zero. On to the next cache, where we met up with more cachers, this one they had already found so they watched us look. We all made plans to go back to the one that has not been found..........7 of us so we should be able to fine this cache. I am using my walking stick just poking it here and there and then everyone hears this CLUNK, yep I found the cache, that was our 35th FTF and our 26th FTF since we have been in Yuma, I would say that makes for a good season. We all chatted for a while and told everyone good bye and off we went.
Thur. and our time is running out and wouldn't you know a new cache come out, so off we go, we know that it has already been found so we go find this one for the numbers.... Believe it or not the people we said goodbye to yesterday was already there, so we got to visit some more. There is another new cache, we caravan to the lastest cache, it is up a hill so I took pictures from a distance and visited with Roberta while the guy retrieved the cache. Then we went thourgh the good byes again..... Thur nigth Buffalo BBQ with some of the local cachers at Char & JJ's place. Nice relaxing time reliving the good times we have had this season here in Yuma....

Friday afternoon a new cache came out, we knew that la84fishin' was on his way but we headed out anyhow, by the time we got to GZ the cache was found by la84fishin' and Ronniegeo, before I found the cache JJ came along and we signed the log and then we sat around and visited for a while.

Friday night was BBQ burgers at fsrvers, Nate, Nina, Jack, Purcilla, Wayne and I were all honored guest. We had a great time telling stroies and discussing our plans for the summer. In the first picture you can tell Nate is telling some kind of story......the second picture is of Nina, kinda looks like she is wonding what kind of story Nate is telling. Frank did a great job cooking the burgers to perfection, and the fixin for the burgers and salads was perfect too. As you can tell by the last picture we ended the even on a SWEET note.

Today W & FO went to the proving grounds to stash a cache, W had to hide one last cache, to be published during the summer.......Frank was the one that climbed the hill and really did the hiding of the cache. While they we out and about FO found some of the caches that we had found earlier this week.

Since the Guys were gone Suz and I went shopping and then to lunch, we said our finally good byes and so that makes it official......the end of another season in Yuma. We will be heading out sometime in the Morning, I am sure it will not be at the crack of dawn. Will write more on down the road............................B
