Sundays BBQ was at Gateway park it is a very nice park with a freeway overhead, a train also overhead, and it is on the Colorado river. The weather was perfect, it was nice and warm, one of the first really warm day we have had in a while. The bridge over the Colorado River is called the "Ocean to Ocean Bridge"
Below is a collage and will tell you about the pictures. (1)This is Char starting to get the food prepared to BBQ. (2) Checking out the travel bugs that people have brought to be traded or discovered. (3) First thing everyone needs to do is sign in and get their name tag, it is nice to put faces to names that your have only seen on the log sheets. (4) Me with Evilfish, he tries to get his picture with everyone. (5) Me and Signal the Frog. One little boy loved him but kept calling him a grasshopper. (6) This is an over view of the BBQ. You can see the Ocean to Ocean bridge above it all. (7) Cachers telling their best caching stories. (8) and then the sprinklers came on.....amazing how fast people move!!! (9) Wayne about to get another hug from a drawing winner. He wants that job next year but he might have a fight on his hands since La84fisn' has already called dibs for 2009.
