Jace's birthday was a very busy day. It started out with Popi taking us to Don's Dinner for breakfast. Jace started his day with pancakes and chocolate milk. As soon as breakfast was over we headed for Elk Grove for Bryce's football game. It was perfect weather to watch a football game, a little crispness in the air and not to hot. Jace was the water boy for the Jr Peewee game. Jace got a work out running on and off the field with heavy water bottles. At half time he was ready for a Cheeseburger and a Pepsi, of course they always taste better at a ballgame. Needless to say on the way home Jace and Bryce both fell asleep, which was a good thing because the day was just getting started.
Jace decided it would be fun to help Rhonda and I shop for his special Birthday dinner. Costco was our first stop and we were in high speed mode, we were in and out an a half hour. We managed to get the shopping done and gazed some along the way, got to love those samples. On to Grocery outlet where Jace found a baloon and some decorations for the tables. Now for the most important stop...the store that has the Oysters.....grabbed 3 dozen and on to the house to unload the car. Left Jace at home to help get the tables ready while Rhon and I went to get more decorations. Before we knew it was time for the party to Begin.
Aunt Kristi was the first to arrive and that was the first hug of the night, got pictues of him giving all us "Girls" hugs......but to many pictures to post. The Oysters was a geat success and we also had hamburgers, there was so many different cheeses and other condiments you hardly knew where to start. Jace decided instead of cake he want pumpkin pie for his BD, and it worked out just great the candles fit on the pumpkin pie even better than a cake. He enjoyed opening more presents and cards.....the picture in the middle is of him opening a present from a neighbor, after opening the bag and removing 4 tomatoes he found his real present.... shoot, he was happy with the tomatoes.Long wonderful day and was able to visit with so many people in one trip.......
Now we are home getting rested up for our next adventue, which will start on Thursday but will not tell you yet what that adventure will be.
