At the last minute Wayne decided he needed to take his Rhino to Yuma with us, so it was a quick run to Vancouver. We headed out Thur and now it is Sun and we are on our way home. Stopped at Valley of the Rough both ways, as a matter of fact that is where we are parked now. We parked in front of Doug and Tami's house since this was a quick 2 overnighter trip. Tami had her yard decorated for Holloween, and the kids put on some fun masks for a photo op.
Ollie is getting so big since we last saw him. He remembered us or else just friendly with everyone, I like to think he remembered us. Last thing this morning Doug loaded up the Rhino so we could get underway.
Doug and Cassidy picked where they wanted to go for there Birthday dinner and they chose Clydes Prime Rib in Portland OR.
The building looked kinda like a castle, and inside the door was a suit of armor. They are know for there prime rib... they bring a cart around (Tami called it a coffin) and carved your meat at the table. I had seafood, and Tami had pork chops, everything was good.
Since it was Cassidy's BD they gave her a huge Chocolate Sunday with cookies in the bottom, and she did not even share. Good food, great atmosphere and a fun time.
Will be home tomorrow just before the rains... Later B
