Today we visited the Wolf Sanctuary at Williams Oregon, and if anyone is interested it is for sale, Wayne thinks the price is around a half mill. Anyone out there interested???It was very interesting, located out in the middle of nowhere and of course on a hillside. It was very interesting and our volunteer tour guide was very knowledgeable of all the animals. Of course Wayne had lots of questions for him. The first group of pictures are of the sign telling about the wolf and then a couple pictures of each one.
The pens the wolfs are in are not that strong, if they wanted out they would have no problem. They have food, water and like there caretakers so they are content. When we first arrived we met a family from Australia, they had just finished taking the tour. They had spent the night in a tent in the sanctuary. Not sure if that would be something I would do...... well of course I would not stay in a tent anywhere. It was difficult getting good pictures because of the lighting and the wolves would not pose the way I asked them. Just no coroperation at all..... OH well there home there rules.
There was a bunny rabbit laying beside the trail, it looked dead, but he moved a little when we got close.
On back to Grants Pass and the Jet boats.....but Wayne will have to tell you about that since he was on the outside and took all the pictures.
Should be back in Corning sometime tomorrow. B
