Louise and I were on our own today so we treated ourselves to lunch at Hickam Airforce Base. The Officers Club is open to all now so we tired it out. It was OK, later in the day we found out there was an eating place next door that would have been better. Maybe we can try that one next week.Had a nice photo-op with the fishies in the water (look close there small) and the state flower. The "Missing Man Formation" with the POW and American flags.
Our waiter saw us admiring the Christmas tree as we were leaving and offered to take our picutres. On to the Exchange and commissary. Got home in time to change clothes and go again.
Manoa Valley Theatre had a special Christmas performance of "The Gift" put on by Hot Club of Hulaville. It was a fun performance, it was a musical and there was a 7 year old boy almost stole the show. His Mother was the singer, everyone did an outstanding job. Louise and I really enjoyed the evening, of course the guys stayed home and watched TV.
